Acetaia Villa Tagliata di Franciosi Rino
Our passion for quality began in 1963 with the opening of the butcher's shop, then expanded into gastronomy and finally with the acquisition of Villa Tagliata, home to a wine cellar since the 1950s.
The desire to enhance the high quality products of the area has pushed us to continue the tradition with the vinegar factory of Villa Tagliata where we produce the traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena DOP according to the consortium regulations.
The vinegar factory has gradually grown over time and today counts batteries of eight and twelve barrels. The vinegar cellar is located in the attic as per tradition, but it is also visible from the ground floor through the glass floor.
Villa Tagliata also constitutes an enchanting setting for the vinegar factory: it is a location for events with an internal kitchen, two swimming pools and 10,000 square meters of park.
The vinegar cellar can be visited both by guests present during the events and every day by reservation. The vinegar can be tasted on site or purchased at the historic Franciosi Rino Gastronomy in Mirandola, in via Statale Nord 23.
