This event, held every year on a Sunday in September, opens the doors of the vinegar lofts to visitors, giving them an amazing chance to discover the production secrets of one of the finest and most beloved products in the world.

The history of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena goes back centuries: the tradition of producing balsamic vinegar has been passed down from generation to generation, carefully preserving the artisan techniques and secrets that make this product unique.

During “Acetaie Aperte“, visitors can explore the historic vinegar lofts, many of which are still managed by families that have been making balsamic vinegar for generations.
