Traditional Balsamic Vinegar promotes Art as an expression of excellence.
THE ART OF BEING UNIQUE: TRADITIONAL BALSAMIC VINEGAR OF MODENA AND CULTURAL COMMITMENT.
Theatre, photography, cinema… Art may take different forms but ultimately it is born from a talent for creating something like no other. In fact, its value lies precisely in its uniqueness and ability to stir our emotions: this is why Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena P.D.O., like a true work of art, supports other forms of artistic expression.
Creativity, knowledge, aesthetic, talent, ingenuity
A perfect combination that leads to excellence. This is Art, in its multiple facets. Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena P.D.O. is the product of a land of great artists of international renown, such as Enzo Ferrari and Luciano Pavarotti, to name but two. Having said that, Traditional Balsamic Vinegar is also a work of art itself, favourite son of its land, fruit of a distinctive tradition built on knowledge but, most of all, people. Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena has a symbiotic relationship with Art which is strengthened by the Consorzio every day through prestigious collaborations and untiring promotional work.
Opera music with Arena di Verona
Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena P.D.O. and Fondazione Arena di Verona have joined forces to promote excellence. As official supplier, Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena P.D.O. has frontline visibility at events and gala evenings organised by Fondazione Arena di Verona, particularly during the Arena Opera Festival and on special international occasions in cities like Madrid, Paris, Berlin, Washington, Los Angeles and Toronto. The Consorzio also takes part in culinary experiences in the Arena, such as the Star Roof restaurant, the Stone Lounge and the Backstage VIP Pass. Arena di Verona is a magical venue, never the same twice, a place that is able to generate unique emotions every time, just like Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena P.D.O. which elevates every flavour, even those to which we are more used, transporting our palate into a new taste dimension.
Photography with Maurizio Galimberti
Noted photographer, master of the exclusive “photographic mosaic” technique, he took the photo that immortalised the iconic Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena P.D.O. bottle, giving it an immediate visual impact that conveys the organoleptic intensity of this unique product in an ultra-modern way. As Galimberti explains: “My shot combines the futurism of Boccioni with Duchamp’s Nude Descending a Staircase as my subject is still but given movement by the rhythmic effect I highlighted the physical attributes of Giugiaro’s bottle, the colours and the shape of the label, seeking to give it a poetic feel: the bottle opens a dialogue with its image, in a new, dynamic and rhythmic context. The image of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena P.D.O. is very powerful, one I like to define as “Galimbertian” in that it perfectly summarises the positioning of the product, as masterfully encapsulated in the payoff “Pleasure elevated to artform.”
Cinema at the Venice International Film Festival
Consorzio Tutela Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena D.O.P. was official partner of Terrazza Cinematografo by Atlas Concorde during the 81st Venice Film Festival. The “Black Gold of Modena” also played a leading role during the Opening Night at Hotel Excelsior at Venice Lido. To complete this prestigious collaboration, the “Pleasure elevated to artform” prize was launched this year to celebrate the key ingredients shared by Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena P.D.O. and the world of cinema: dedication, authenticity and passion. The first edition of the award went to Andrea Romeo for his work “Casa I Wonder”, which celebrates the most famous Italian culinary products at the most prestigious film festivals.
