Aceto Balsamico del Duca di Adriano Grosoli
Aceto Balsamico del Duca represents the experience of five generations, which using original family recipes, since 1891, produces Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO and Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI. In the 1970s, Adriano Grosoli, grandson of the founder, decided to distinguish his balsamic with the image of Duke Francesco I d'Este, one of the most famous and passionate producers of that balsam much appreciated at the Este court.
Today the historic site is dedicated to the aging of the precious Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO and preserves hundreds of precious barrels. There is also an aging room for Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI with fine barrels and barriques. Consisting of an ancient brick kiln, built around 1600, it has recently been renovated and made available to the many visitors who wish to discover the secrets of this unique product. This venue is often the scene of cultural and recreational events, in the evocative setting of hundreds of ancient barrels, still in full swing
