Five American journalists explore the excellence of Traditional Modena Balsamic Vinegar P.D.O.

In October 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting five renowned US food and lifestyle journalists and bloggers from leading publications such as The Kitchn, Real Simple, Food Network, Allrecipes and Thrillist.

During the week, our guests experienced a full immersion into the world of Traditional Modena Balsamic Vinegar P.D.O. and Balsamic Vinegar of Modena P.G.I. They explored the local vineyards, witnessed the cooking of the must and learnt the art of decanting and pouring in the barrel batteries, where the vinegar matures for at least 12 to 25 years, until it is bottled in the iconic little bottle designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro.

The main objective of the tour was to deepen the understanding of the uniqueness and authenticity of true Traditional Modena Balsamic Vinegar P.D.O., highlighting its indissoluble bond with the territory and distinguishing it from imitation products. The journalists had the opportunity to taste different varieties of vinegar and discover the ideal gastronomic pairings, thus enriching their experience and preparing to share the peculiarities and excellence of our product with the American public.

This initiative represents a significant step in strengthening the awareness and appreciation of Traditional Modena Balsamic Vinegar P.D.O. in the United States, thanks to the authoritative voice of female professionals working in some of the most influential platforms in the American culinary and lifestyle scene.
